Hi, I'm Jeremy. I work in live production, and I build tools that help events and streams run smoothly.

The first one was NextSlide. I was running a large virtual event, more than 25 presenters across several days, panel after panel sharing one slide presentation. I got so tired of hearing "next slide, please" that I sketched a fix the night the last session ended. That sketch became NextSlide, and it has been quietly driving other people's presentations ever since.

NextTime comes from the other half of the same job. Every show I work has a schedule; almost none of them have a clock everyone can trust. The timing side of an event is usually held together with tape. A phone propped against a monitor, a volunteer waving from the back of the room, and the question you can feel the whole booth asking:

"How long has he been on?"

A speaker who can see exactly where they stand doesn't need to be chased off the stage. So NextTime is the tool I wanted in the booth: the rundown does the math, every screen in the building shows the same clock, and the whole thing runs in a browser. Nothing to install, on any device in the room.

NextTime is part of NextSuite, a set of web-based tools for people who run live events.
